The 17th century tomb of Azim Khan, a general in the Mughal army (though not enough historic record is available about him) is located atop a rugged hillock at Mehrauli in South Delhi. The tomb is included in the list of Indian Monuments of National Importance by Archaeological Survey of India.

I came to know about the place very recently through a local boy who spent his childhood in the area. View of Delhi’s green cover looks wonderful from the top. At a distance, on the other hillock, you can a huge idol of Lord Mahavira at Mehrauli Jain Temple.
