Madhi Masjid, Mehrauli, Delhi

Located near Mehrauli Archaeological Park in South Delhi, this magnificent monument is believed to be from 15th century Lodi era, however, not much is known about the history of this monument.

I just happened to pass by this monument recently. There was no information about the monument except a board at the entrance to denote that the same is amongst the Monuments of National Importance by Archeological Survey of India.

In picture is the main entrance dome of Madhi Masjid. The weather was beautiful and so was the click, and that’s why I chose this picture to be the ‘featured image’ for the current post.
