Ugrasen Ki Baoli, New Delhi

Raja Ugrasen Ki Baoli, situated near Connaught Place (New Delhi), is a 14th Century step well consisting of 103 steps made of red stone.

It is also one of the most haunted places in India. While we go deeper in the Baoli, the sound totally vanishes and what only remains is the echo of our own footsteps making the atmosphere rather uncanny. A strong eerie presence is felt by the visitors in there. Though I never felt anything like that during my visits to the place.
