The Stupa is situated in a part of the sprawling Indraprastha Park. At present, a lot of development works are going on at the site, whcih will further enhance the beauty of the place.

Inaugurated by His Holiness Dalai Lama on 4th November 2007, the World Peace Stupa is a Buddhist monument in Delhi (India) a symbol of universal brotherhood and peace. This is one of several Peace Pagodas in the world started by the Nipponzan-Myōhōji-Daisanga religious order of Buddhism.
